部分相干高斯—谢尔模光束在负色散介质中的光谱特性

文章利用由部分相干光理论及张量方法推导出的部分相干高斯—谢尔模(GSM)光束在介质中的传输公式,计算分析了部分相干GSM光束在负色散介质中的演化特性.研究结果表明,部分相干GSM光束在负色散介质中传输时会出现光谱分裂和频移现象.     

PRICING EQUITY DERIVATIVES SUBJECT TO BANKRUPTCY

We solve in closed form a parsimonious extension of the Black–Scholes–Merton model with bankruptcy where the hazard rate of bankruptcy is a negative power of the stock price. Combining a scale change and a measure change, the model dynamics is reduced to a linear stochastic differential equation whose solution is a diffusion process that plays a central role in the pricing of Asian options. The solution is in the form of a spectral expansion associated with the diffusion infinitesimal generator. The latter is closely related to the Schrödinger operator with Morse potential. Pricing formulas for both corporate bonds and stock options are obtained in closed form. Term credit spreads on corporate bonds and implied volatility skews of stock options are closely linked in this model, with parameters of the hazard rate specification controlling both the shape of the term structure of credit spreads and the slope of the implied volatility skew. Our analytical formulas are easy to implement and should prove useful to researchers and practitioners in corporate debt and equity derivatives markets.     

The Determinants of the Intermediary Spread: Evidence from Australian, UK and USA-based International Equity Funds

This paper develops and tests a new measure of mutual fund performance, based on Brennan's (1993a) equilibrium model of the pricing of retail financial products, which assumes that search costs of investors are non-trivial and cause the demand for mutual funds to be inelastic, thus creating an intermediary spread. This implies that the marginal costs of the intermediary spread in the form of expenses and sales load must be explicitly traded off against the marginal benefits in terms of the fund's return relative to a benchmark. The measure is used to evaluate the performance of twelve USA, eight UK and five Australian-based internationally diversified equity funds over the period 1982–95, and provides new insights into their performance in ways that are not revealed by the Jensen measure.     

城市化对供水河流水文序列的影响分析

以西安市降水序列为参照，利用累积滤波器和Kendall秩次相关检验法检验了西安市主要供水河流黑河、沣河、灞河年径流序列的趋势性；利用有序聚类分析法推估了城市用水和郊区农业、城镇用水对各序列的显著影响干扰年份。结果表明，城市化对西安市主要河流年径流序列的影响强度由大到小依次是灞河、黑河、沣河；1965年以前，城市河流山口以上年径流序列影响相对较大，1971-1980年时段，城市河流山口以下年径流序列影响较大；突变性分析得出：主要河流山口以上年径流序列干扰年份灞河出现在1948年，入渭河流年径流序列干扰点年份灞河出现在1981年，黑河出现在1979年。黑河、灞河出山年径流序列与入渭河年径流序列突变点移动表明，城市化对河流年径流序列的影响程度山口以上河段小于山口以下至入渭河段。     

西宁近48a来气温变化的多时间尺度分析

利用Morlet小波分析了1954￣2001年西宁市年平均气温距平时间序列的小波变化特征,揭示了气温变化的多时间尺度结构,分析了其中存在的主要周期振荡和突变点,并与功率谱分析结果进行比较。结果表明:西宁市年平均气温存在多时间尺度的周期变化特征,西宁市年平均气温存在3.5a,准11a和准24a的主周期。西宁市的气温变化存在着明显的多时间尺度,即年代际尺度和年际尺度的周期性变化,20￣32a时间尺度具全域性外,其它尺度的局部化特征则很强。西宁市的气温变化还显示出突变点分布和及其位相结构。21世纪初西宁市年均气温还将处在一个偏冷期。通过功率谱和小波变换方法在诊断气温变化上的应用,得出功率谱在诊断气温变化中一些缺点,而小波变换方法能分析气温序列随时间变化的多层次结构,功率谱分析方法由于自身原因难以做到这一点。
